INSTALLATION MADE EASY
Evolve Stone has changed the game for how installation for stone siding works. Post prepping your desired work area, it can be easily installed with a 16’ gauge Nail Gun. Utilizing a hammer to adjust the stone or for texturizing if necessary. Why spend the extra money, when you can use your every day tools? Evolve Stone’s color infused technology throughout the stone veneer adds the versatility to work with the material and make any necessary adjustments fast and simple. The stone veneers are designed to allow the screw to recess slightly below the face of the stone for a smooth natural finish.
STEP BY STEP
Step 1: Plan out your project or construction.
Step 2: Gather all your necesary tools
Step 3. Verify the sub-surface is properly installed. The substrate should be a minimum of 7/16” thick exterior sheathing made of OSB or Plywood. Only a water-resistive barrier complying with ASTM E2556 Type I or Type II should be used. (Typar, or commercial grade Tyvek or equal is recommended.)
Step 4.Using a chalk-line make your level guidelines spaced at regular intervals on your working area.
Step 5: Start fastening your stone veneers. Always adjust the countersink depth on the finished liner to ensure that the nail heads will recess slightly below the source of the stone. Refer to your manual for different size suggestions.
Step 6: Install corners adequately and treat each side as its own stone.

Stoneburner & Evolve Stone
As the company sets out to start renovations, it has implemented the use of the Evolve Stone veneers for its first project. The team at Stoneburner is currently working on a new addition to the company. A new building which will open office space for several employees at the company is underway. Stoneburner chose to utilize the veneers for a clean and stylish look as the building will be located at the entrance of the lumberyard. The installation of the veneers took under 2 days for the team and speeded up the process as the team now gets additional time to focus on the rest of the finishing touches.
